do you have a stiff drink after a long day?

You are probably not the only one, because research shows that there are more people workalcoholics. Especially those who are 55 or more hours per week working, refresh themselves frequently with a bottle of beer. Where do they find the time to drink, it's not known.

But do they drink. It may namely as no surprise that long hours lead to more stress, exhaustion and mental problems. No wonder grab some employees in a similar situation to the bottle. Thirteen percent of workaholics is also an alcoholic.

These figures come from a study conducted by scientists at the British Medical Journal. Among 330,000 people in 14 different countries within the EU, a questionnaire was administered on their risky drinking. This is a woman on fourteen drinks per week, with a man 21.

The BMJ, a British organization so, underlining the importance of the European Union Working Time Directive, a 1998 directive that ensures that employees no longer than 48 hours per week (including overtime) may work. However, Britain is an exception to that rule, since employees may voluntarily work longer.

The results provide food for thought. However, whether the number of hours of operation also reduce will directly lead to a decrease in the number of alcoholics will have to be tested individually

what do you think about alcoholism?
